With Your Help, We Drove Away The Cold!!

 Bill Marsh Ford was able to contribute 78 children’s coats to the American Red Cross Lower Bucks Homeless Shelter with help from the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation!!  All together the Foundation gathered a total of 18,325 new coats that were distributed to underprivileged children across the five-county Philadelphia area this past fall.

 Our 3^rd Annual Blood Drive that took place on December 4^th, 2008 was a success!  We would like to thank everyone who came out and supported the Red Cross in giving to such a worthy cause!

Ford’s SYNC Technology Adds Interactive Features

Real-time traffic, turn-by-turn directions, personalized sports and weather reports will be added to Sync and will be available later this year on all 2010 Ford models. The options are free for the first 3 years of ownership.  In the past, General Motors has dominated the telematics field (interactive electronics) with its OnStar system, which was created specifically to provide safety and emergency help.  Ford is also working with different companies to create different “Applications,” much like what Apple has done with the iPod.  

 Ford is also trying to add an Avatar feature—a digital talking head similar to the personalities video gamers create on Nintendo’s Wii game console.  The avatar would greet drivers and give them information and personalized feedback using conversational language.
